About
Hi, I’m Sarah

Welcome to MintyPan! I’m so glad you’re here.
I started this blog because I love cooking, but for a long time, my kitchen was a mess. I lived in small apartments with tiny counters and not enough storage. I burned a lot of bread. I forgot ingredients halfway through recipes. Slowly, I learned how to make things easier — both the cooking part and the kitchen part.
MintyPan is everything I’ve learned along the way.
What I share here
Recipes that actually work. I make every recipe in my own kitchen, sometimes two or three times, before I share it. If a recipe is on this site, I’ve made it, eaten it, and (usually) made a mess while doing it.
Kitchen organization that’s realistic. Not the kind you see in magazines where everything is perfectly white and matching. Just simple ideas that make cooking less stressful, even in a small space.
Honest food tips. Little things that make a big difference — like why your bread keeps coming out dense, or how to keep herbs alive for more than a week.
Why I do this
I believe cooking shouldn’t feel stressful. A good recipe should work the first time. A kitchen should help you, not slow you down. That’s what I try to share here — simple ideas that make everyday cooking feel a little easier and a little more enjoyable.
A little more about me
When I’m not cooking or writing for MintyPan, I enjoy reading, tending to my little herb garden, and taking long walks whenever I need to clear my head. I started cooking seriously after moving out on my own — suddenly there was no one else to feed me, and takeout gets old fast. That push turned into a genuine passion, and I haven’t stopped since.
Let’s talk
Made one of my recipes? Tried one of the kitchen tips? I’d love to hear how it went. You can contact me here or leave a comment on any post.
Thanks for visiting MintyPan — I hope it makes your kitchen feel a little easier today.
