Ingredients

  • 8 oz mascarpone cheese – The creamy star of the show
  • 1 cup heavy cream – For fluffiness that will make your jaw drop
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar – Sweet but not too much
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract – Tiny but essential
  • 1 pack ladyfingers – AKA your dessert foundation
  • 1 cup brewed coffee cooled – Don’t skip it; tiramisu without coffee is sad
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder – Dust generously we’re not stingy here
  • Optional: chocolate shavings or berries for topping

Instructions

  • Prep the Cream
  • Whip heavy cream until soft peaks form. In a separate bowl, mix mascarpone, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Fold whipped cream into mascarpone mixture gently—keep it light and airy!
  • Prep Coffee Soak
  • Pour cooled coffee into a shallow dish. Quick tip: don’t oversoak the ladyfingers, or your tiramisu turns into a soggy mess.
  • Layering Time
  • Dip each ladyfinger into coffee for 1–2 seconds (fast!). Lay them at the bottom of your dish. Spread half of the mascarpone cream over the ladyfingers.
  • Repeat
  • Add another layer of coffee-dipped ladyfingers, followed by the remaining mascarpone cream. Smooth the top with a spatula.
  • Chill
  • Cover with plastic wrap and chill for at least 2–3 hours (or overnight if you can resist). This helps flavors meld and the cream set perfectly.
  • Finishing Touches
  • Dust the top generously with cocoa powder and add optional chocolate shavings or berries. Slice carefully and serve.
