Prep the Cream
Whip heavy cream until soft peaks form. In a separate bowl, mix mascarpone, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Fold whipped cream into mascarpone mixture gently—keep it light and airy!
Prep Coffee Soak
Pour cooled coffee into a shallow dish. Quick tip: don’t oversoak the ladyfingers, or your tiramisu turns into a soggy mess.
Layering Time
Dip each ladyfinger into coffee for 1–2 seconds (fast!). Lay them at the bottom of your dish. Spread half of the mascarpone cream over the ladyfingers.
Repeat
Add another layer of coffee-dipped ladyfingers, followed by the remaining mascarpone cream. Smooth the top with a spatula.
Chill
Cover with plastic wrap and chill for at least 2–3 hours (or overnight if you can resist). This helps flavors meld and the cream set perfectly.
Finishing Touches
Dust the top generously with cocoa powder and add optional chocolate shavings or berries. Slice carefully and serve.
