Ingredients

  • 1 package 3.9 oz instant chocolate pudding mix – The creamy star.
  • 2 cups cold milk – Dairy or non-dairy both work.
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream or coconut cream – Optional for extra richness.
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar – Sweetens the whipped cream topping.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract – Elevates everything.
  • Chocolate shavings or sprinkles – Optional but why not?
  • Mini cups or shot glasses – For portioning presentation, and bragging rights.

Instructions

  • Prepare the pudding. In a medium bowl, whisk together the pudding mix and cold milk for 2 minutes until thickened. The faster you whisk, the creamier it gets—don’t cheat.
  • Whip the cream. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form. Optional but highly recommended.
  • Assemble the shots. Spoon pudding into mini cups or shot glasses, filling them about 3/4 full.
  • Top with whipped cream. Dollop or pipe it over the pudding. Don’t be shy—this is the showstopper.
  • Add garnish. Sprinkle chocolate shavings, sprinkles, or even a tiny drizzle of caramel on top. Presentation matters.
  • Chill for at least 1 hour. Let everything set and flavors meld. The longer, the better.
  • Serve & enjoy. Pop them straight into your mouth or hand them around like a dessert hero.
