Ingredients

  • 1 large cucumber sliced
  • 1-2 lemons sliced (optional for a zingy kick)
  • ¼ cup fresh mint leaves
  • 2 –3 cups cold filtered water adjust to your thirst
  • Ice cubes as needed, because nobody loves lukewarm spa water
  • A pinch of optional extras: cucumber juice splash a few berry halves, or a pinch of grated ginger

Instructions

  • Prep the essentials: rinse the cucumber and mint, then slice the cucumber thin. Small slices maximize flavor release.
  • Layer the flavors: add cucumber slices and mint leaves to a pitcher or jar. Muddle gently if you like a stronger aroma, but not so hard you bruise the mint into tears.
  • Add liquid: pour in cold water. Give it a quick stir. If you’re feeling fancy, squeeze a lemon slice in and drop the rind for extra zing.
  • Chill for at least 30 minutes (or pop in the fridge overnight). The longer it sits, the more it whispers “refreshed” as you sip.
