Ingredients

  • 1 package 3.9 oz instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk any kind—dairy, almond, oat… pick your favorite
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract optional, but highly recommended
  • 1 cup whipped topping cool whip, whipped cream, or coconut whipped cream for vegan
  • Optional toppings: chocolate shavings sprinkles, crushed cookies, or fruit

Instructions

  • Whisk the pudding. In a medium bowl, combine the pudding mix, milk, and vanilla extract. Whisk for 2–3 minutes until thick and silky. Yes, you can do this while dancing to your favorite song—multitasking is allowed.
  • Portion into cups. Grab your favorite small cups, jars, or even glasses. Spoon the pudding evenly into each cup. Admire the silky chocolate beauty.
  • Chill. Place the cups in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to set. If you have more patience, an hour is even better—trust me, it firms up beautifully.
  • Top it off. Once chilled, add a layer of whipped topping. Sprinkle on chocolate shavings, sprinkles, or cookie crumbs for extra flair. Optional but highly encouraged for maximum Instagram points.
  • Serve and enjoy. Grab a spoon, dive in, and try not to eat all of them yourself… though I won’t judge if you do.
