Grind your beans
Grind your Jamaican Blue Mountain beans to a medium grind. Not sand, not gravel—think “table salt vibes.” Fresh grind = better flavor, always.
Heat the water (don’t boil it into chaos)
Heat water to about 90–96°C. If it’s boiling like a volcano, just let it chill for a minute. Overheating = bitter betrayal.
Bloom the coffee
Add grounds to your filter or French press. Pour a small amount of hot water over them and let it sit for 30–45 seconds. This step makes your coffee feel emotionally supported.
Brew it properly
Slowly pour the rest of the water in circular motions. Don’t rush it—this is not a race, it’s a ritual. Let it drip or steep for 2–4 minutes depending on your method.
Strain or press
If using a pour-over, let it fully drip. If using a French press, gently press down (no aggression needed).
Serve immediately
Pour into your favorite cup like you’re in a slow-motion coffee commercial.
