Instructions
Slice the lemon into rounds, removing any seeds. The seeds are not your friends in this party.
Peel and grate or finely mince the ginger. You want the zing, not a mouthful of chewy mystery.
In a pitcher, muddle the lemon and ginger lightly to release their juices and essential oils. No need to turn it into a sauce—just press gently.
Pour in water, stir, and taste. If you’re feeling picky, add a tiny pinch of turmeric or a touch of honey for sweetness.
Chill for 15–20 minutes or serve immediately over ice. Fresh, bright, and ready to drink.
