Prep the chicken.
Soak chicken tenders in buttermilk for 30 minutes. Add a pinch of salt to the milk for extra flavor.
Mix the dry coating.
Combine flour, paprika, cayenne, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
Dredge the chicken.
Coat each tender evenly in the flour mixture. Shake off excess.
Fry to golden perfection.
Heat oil in a skillet to 350°F (175°C). Fry chicken for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
Make the spicy butter.
Melt butter and mix in paprika, cayenne, and hot sauce. Pour over fried tenders immediately.
Rest & plate.
Let chicken rest 2–3 minutes to set the spicy buttery coating. Then serve immediately.
