Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooled green tea or black tea if you’re a bold soul
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 –2 teaspoons honey or agave adjust to taste
  • 1/2 cup sparkling water
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger optional for zing
  • Ice cubes
  • A pinch of salt just a pinch, don’t overdo it

Instructions

  • Brewing the base: Brew your tea and let it cool. Hot tea + carbonated vibe = messy. Cool is the magic.
  • Sweeten lightly: Stir in honey or agave until it dissovles. Taste and adjust—sweet enough to be pleasant, not a dessert in a cup.
  • Brighten it up: Add lemon juice and orange juice. The citrus kicks fatigue to the curb and makes this drink feel fancy.
  • Add zing: If you’re using ginger, grate it in now. It adds a clean, spicy note without overpowering the citrus.
  • Fizz factor: Pour in sparkling water and a pinch of salt. The salt helps balance flavors and prevents the drink from tasting flat.
  • Chill and serve: Toss in ice cubes, give it a quick swirl, and sip. If it’s too strong, add a splash more sparkling water.
