One-Ingredient Banana Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 3 –4 ripe bananas the riper, the better
  • Optional Toppings/Add-ins:
  • Chocolate chips
  • Peanut butter
  • Honey or maple syrup
  • Crushed cookies
  • Fresh berries

Instructions

  • Slice & Freeze: Peel bananas and slice into small chunks. Lay them on a baking sheet and freeze for at least 2 hours.
  • Blend: Pop frozen banana slices into a high-speed blender or food processor. Blend until smooth and creamy. It might look crumbly at first—just keep blending!
  • Customize (Optional): Toss in a spoonful of peanut butter, chocolate chips, or berries and pulse a few times.
  • Serve or Chill: You can eat it straight away as soft-serve or freeze for 30 minutes for a firmer texture.
  • Enjoy: Scoop into bowls, top with whatever you like, and try not to devour the entire batch in one sitting.
