Oreo Nutella Lava Bites Recipe

Ingredients

  • 8 –10 Oreo cookies crushed (reserve a few for topping)
  • 1/2 cup Nutella or any hazelnut spread, you won’t regret it
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: powdered sugar or chocolate chips for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a mini muffin tin with paper liners.
  • Mix the wet ingredients. In a bowl, whisk the melted butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Add the dry ingredients. Fold in the flour, crushed Oreos, and a pinch of salt. Don’t overmix—you want the batter slightly lumpy.
  • Scoop the batter. Fill each muffin liner about halfway, then add a teaspoon of Nutella in the center. Top with more batter until almost full.
  • Bake. Pop them in the oven for 10–12 minutes. You want the edges set but the center gooey—think lava, not cake.
  • Cool slightly. Let them rest for 3–5 minutes before serving. The magic happens when you bite in while warm!
  • Optional garnish. Dust with powdered sugar, sprinkle chocolate chips, or drizzle more Nutella for Instagram-level perfection.
