Whip the Cream
In a bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form. Separately, mix mascarpone, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Fold the whipped cream gently into the mascarpone mixture—keep it light and airy!
Prep the Coffee Soak
Pour cooled coffee into a shallow dish. Quick tip: don’t oversoak the ladyfingers, or they’ll get mushy. Dip each one for 1–2 seconds, just long enough to absorb flavor.
Build the First Layer
Lay coffee-dipped ladyfingers in the bottom of your dish. Spread half of the mascarpone cream over the ladyfingers. Scatter some sliced strawberries on top for bursts of fruity goodness.
Add the Second Layer
Repeat with another layer of soaked ladyfingers and remaining mascarpone cream. Top generously with the rest of the strawberries. Smooth with a spatula.
Chill
Cover with plastic wrap and chill for 2–3 hours (or overnight for best flavor). This gives the cream time to set and the flavors to meld beautifully.
Finish & Garnish
Before serving, dust with unsweetened cocoa powder and optionally add white chocolate shavings or extra berries for that extra wow factor.
