Heat your water.
Bring water to about 90–96°C. If you don’t have a thermometer, just let boiling water sit for 30–45 seconds. Boom—problem solved.
Prep your filter.
Place the paper filter in your V60 and rinse it with hot water. This removes paper taste and warms everything up. Don’t skip this—seriously.
Add your coffee.
Pour in your ground coffee and gently shake to level it out. Flat bed = even extraction = better flavor.
Bloom the coffee.
Pour a small amount of water (about 30–40ml) over the grounds. Let it sit for 30 seconds. This releases gases and makes your coffee taste way better.
Pour slowly.
Continue pouring water in slow, circular motions. Don’t rush—this isn’t a race. Take about 2–3 minutes total.
Let it drip.
Once all water is poured, let it fully drip through. No shaking, no tapping—just patience.
Serve and sip.
Remove the dripper, give it a gentle swirl, and enjoy your masterpiece.
