Ingredients

  • 4 cups watermelon chopped and deseeded – juicy and sweet!
  • 2 –3 tbsp honey or maple syrup – optional depending on your watermelon sweetness
  • 1 tbsp fresh lime juice – optional but trust me, it makes them pop
  • Popsicle molds and sticks – because otherwise it’s just frozen watermelon

Instructions

  • Blend the watermelon: Toss your chopped watermelon in a blender until smooth. Taste it—if it’s not sweet enough, add honey or maple syrup. Don’t forget the lime juice for a little zing!
  • Pour into molds: Carefully fill your popsicle molds with the watermelon mixture. Leave a tiny gap at the top to let the liquid expand as it freezes.
  • Insert sticks: Pop in the sticks, making sure they’re centered. Otherwise, you’ll have a sad, lopsided popsicle.
  • Freeze: Put the molds in the freezer for at least 4–6 hours, or until completely solid. Patience is key—no peeking!
  • Unmold and enjoy: To release, briefly run the molds under warm water for a few seconds. Voilà! Summer happiness in your hand.
